Hi all! It’s Friday again! Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week and a Happy Canada Day! Yaay poutines and fireworks and celebrations!
So what did I get up to this week? Well Tuesday evening my friends and I went to play an escape room game. This is where you and your friends are locked in a room and you have 45 mins to solve all the clues, open all the locks and get out, or else you’re trapped and they kill you and harvest your organs. This explains why I have a huge scar on my tummy area and am currently missing a kidney. No I’m kidding you just lose the game. Nothing bad happens to you. You don’t lose any organs. But your pride gets injured. In these situations I’m not particularly useful until you hand me a lock and I crack the code using my fingers and their sense of touch. It’s sorta “cheating” but whatever gets the job done right? We were 99% complete the puzzle before we ran out of time and hints. Oh yes, by the way, you get three hints. We lost to a very difficult word/math puzzle. Most upsetting.
Anyway, that loss didn’t ruin my night at all. I just found it good to be with friends. Then Canada Day rolled along. See my Canada Day post here: https://remixboy.wordpress.com/2015/07/01/happy-canada-day/
Yesterday I spoke with my doctor about sleep apnea and my day to day problems. He suggested I record myself sleep to listen to the pattern of snores.
Oh oh oh! So last week, my fountain pens arrived from Namisu. They had a kickstarter going and so I funded them. I didn’t get around to opening the pens till Monday. When I went to open it, it was already opened. I don’t know who did it. Maybe customs? Anyway the pens are really industrial in design. I liked the sandblasted texture. One thing I didn’t like was the fact that they didn’t ship me ink cartridges. The pen’s useless without some form of ink holder. So I had to pay like eleven pounds for new cartridges.
flowing like a river
below the mountain sides
in a previous life
whimsical thoughts gave rise
to bold and grand plans
crossing the bridge of time
we discover the flowers of knowledge and truths
the peaking of the twin moons
brings together families
one’s life becomes too animated
the life stories become intertwined with the five moons
flowing like a river
one realizes his responsibilities
water droplets evaporate into clouds
there in the clouds we live and dream
the rains fall and the roots of the earth absorb them
one sees one’s own reflection in the mirror
and realizes there is more this life
he sees the past the present and the future
So today’s pictures are once again more cars. To be honest I’m getting tired of the car themes. Anyway I hope you all have a great weekend.
