Happy Birthday!

Hi all! Happy Monday! And Happy Birthday to me!

Today’s my birthday and for the past three days I’ve been eating out celebrating my birthday. It’s been a great couple of days. This year, so far, has been pretty good. No major incidents to report. I’ve been going to see my doctor regularly and we talk about life in general and how it is for me. Last year was a rough start but it smoothed out and after my trip to the hospital I’ve stayed out of trouble. This year I’ve been committed to blogging at least once a week. I know I missed last Friday’s Free Association Friday. I was out at dinner and then went over to a friend’s place for boardgames. On my way to his place I missed a turn and ended up at the airport! My sense of direction seems to have declined over the years and only seems to be getting worse. Anyway, we played several rounds of Avalon and then played good ol’ Cranium. My team lost by like three cards. Much sadness. I used to be so good at Cranium. There was also Legendary, Mice and Mystics, Robinson Crusoe, Agricola, and Magic the Gathering.

Another thing that I’ve noticed that comes with age is the aches I get in my body. There’ll be times when I’m sitting still and my abs just cramp up. I don’t know what the cause is. The other day when I was parking the car, I turned around to check the back and my whole left side just seized up and started cramping like crazy. Ah! So annoying!

This year I resolve to continue to blog at least once a week. This week being a special week, there will be two posts; today’s post and a Free Association Friday post. And I resolve to cut my hair at least once a month. After a year of not cutting my hair I finally cut my long hair on Saturday in celebration of my upcoming birthday. It felt so good. I missed having short hair. But I’ve also learnt some important things throughout my journey with long hair. I’ve learn not to take short hair for granted. I’ve learnt that there’s a lot of upkeep with long hair. Constant washing and brushing was required. I think from now on I’ll keep my hair short, it’s less of a hassle. So in the future if I ever say I want to grow my hair out, remind me of this post and how I resolved to keep it short.

Earlier last week, my friend took me to an autoshow. I had a great time there looking at the latest and greatest cars and the technology behind them. I saw a several electric cars; the Tesla and the Smart cars. And I even saw a hydrogen car. I also had a great time taking photos of the cars. For the next several weeks I’ll be posting pictures of from the car show.

Another thing that happened last week was my delivery of watches! I ordered several watches off Amazon. A couple of Seiko watches and a Citizen Eco-drive watch. I’m still waiting for the last watch to arrive but my family of watches has grown bigger. I’m really proud of my collection of watches and I look forward to getting more in the future. I have my eyes set on a an Invicta diver’s watch. It normally retails for 1.6k but is selling on Amazon for just $200. Amazon has some really good deals for watches. I’m constantly browsing their watch selections looking for more deals and more pretty watches. I’ll be doing a photoshoot of the watches as soon as the last one arrives and then I’ll be able to post them onto the blog for everyone to see.

Oh! My sister just gave me a present! It’s a small little book about cats! There are so many pictures of kittens in it! I love it! Cats cats cats~!

Today’s photo is an Alfa Romeo taken at the Vancouver Autoshow 2015. Pretty in red.

I hope you all have a wonderful Monday and a great rest of the week! As always your thoughts and comments are welcomed below!
